This section opens with a discussion of the increasing need for private sector investment in the public charging network and an introduction to Scottish Futures Trust and the EVIF programme funded by Transport Scotland.

It later touches on potential ways of reducing costs when installing charging infrastructure, and outlines the government funding sources available. It then looks in depth at possible avenues for partnership and collaboration between different groups and organisations with a shared interest in developing charging infrastructure. We look at the different forms these partnerships can take and provide case study examples that could serve as models for your own projects.
